RACE RESULTS ANDERS LATTERMANN - 2003 SEASON I started with Slotracing at home on a Scalextric track in 2000, mainly playing around all by myself. In October 2001 I found the Stockholm Slotcar Club which I joined as a member and shortly after I participated in my first race. 2003 was my second Race Season. Below you can see how it turned out:

| 14 drivers have started in the series during 2003. Totally it was 18 races. We use a system called "Five Away" meaning that you have to take out five of your races from the points. The ones marked with * are the worst results I had this year and the ones I choose to exclude. I then got 276 points, 24 points after the winners "Five Away". So I got the second place finally. The second place was open until the very last race where Lars and I started on the same points standings. I managed to run half a lap more than Lars and therefor I got it. |

The diploma from Northland
500 and the Pennziol Pontiac that I made the 5th place with.

500 Nascar June 28th- 5th place Nascar model car race in Kiel, Germany, on a 5 lane custom made wood track, fully landscaped with trees and buildings. Recieved the SSC prize: "International Effort of the year" for this placement, since it was the best result anyone in our club did and it actually rendered me on place 43 on the german IMCA total ranking list for 2003. |

This was the only Wing car
race I started in 2003. I realized I needed to focus on the Nascar series so
I dropped wing cars for this year.

HOURS X-MAS RUSH AT THE SSC December 27. Stockholm, Sweden. Hasse Nilsson 6-lane Hillclimb track. Team race. The six best drivers in the saloon cup where givven the role as teamleaders. Then they had to choose thier co-driver from the others by lottery. I got hooked up with Torgny Nordgren this year. We ran Saloon type bodies on Parma Flexi-2 chassis, powered by standard 16D motors. This was the third time we had this type of race. The first time in 2001 I was in the winning team "Richard the 3d" (see the report in Swedish here). Last year me and Juha Honkanen took the lead at start, and held it for five and a half hours and then the motor died. We still managed to come in 2nd of the 6 starting teams. This year was a re-run of last year, we had the lead from start, but in contrast to last year - we held it all the way into the end of the race. Victory! A little more than 3600 laps and about 150 laps more than the second place team managed. Yeah, a good end of this race year one could say! ;-) |
