Audi R8

This car I built quickly. It is based an a Carrera 1:24 slotcar that I just swapped the chassi on to Schöler Inline and swapped wheels to aluminium ones. The inserts are from a toy car. The modifications to the body are that wheelarchs are opened up and I had to do an extra air inlet to allow my crown gear some space.


The cars sits on a Schöler inline chassi.


I needed to run with a bigger crown gear than there where room for so I dremeled up an opening.


And covered it with a fake air inlet on the top side.

To protect the front of the car. I manucatured a carbon plate from a 1 mm carbon sheet.


It is made with hand tools, a Dremel, a metal saw and my Unimat multi use machine and screwed with four screws to the chassi.
