On this page you can see some of the work that is in progress on my work bench.
I will release more pictures and text of how they where built when they come
closer to getting on the track. Here we go:

Dodge Daytona.. The AMT kit is really badly made. They took a Charger 500 body
and made a horrible nose cone construction for it. Small pieces that where supposed
to be glued on the side of the body and also a nose cone with a rounded surface
that is supposed to meet the body which makes it really tricky to get at nice
fit and also the line that is visible should be a stright line and not a round
one. Also the hood is wrong in the front of this kit, should not be arrowed
but straight cut off.
So I fixed it, see below....

The nose cone will be glued with Liquisole rubber like glue. The front spoiler also. It is superglued to a lexan piece so it will have lots of flex back and forth. The rear wing is made with the same construction with lexan glued on the inside. It sticks through slots in the body and sticks down into the body where it will be glued with the rubber glue. The rear wing weights totally 1 gram. That's okey also for racing!

Also I'm building a standard Charger 500 based on the same AMT kit body but
with a resin Nascar grille. The nose is made with the same reinforcement technique
but has curves so it was a little trickier to do.

Hey! A blue car for a change (my friends says I'm only building red cars)! Petty
Torino Talladega. Looking to get the correct stance and interior is on it's
way.

The interior is getting ready for painting.

I wished I was this far with my roll out but I'm far from there. Also I'm building
the #3 car, same decals otherwise.

The latest project I've started. There are many projects at the moment...
Some more projects:

Porsche 911. Body painted
by Martin Bartelmes.

1940 Nascar.
