AC Cobra


My ready Cobra.

The AC Cobra is based on a prepainted Kyosho mini-Z radio controlled body. I measured it and found out that it is really in scale 1:25 and not 1:27 as Kyosho claims.


It sits on a Schöler chassi.


There is quite little space for the pickup but it is enough.


On the track


I used the original wheels that came with the body kit and turned them down to inserts and mounted them in aluminium wheels instead.


The Cobra is 75 mm wide so it can be run on wood tracks or plastic tracks. Even on Scalextric that is 77 mm wide between the lanes!


It is really easy to build one of these. You can do it in just one evening!
